Office 2021 OEM Installation and Activation Guide

0. Download the Installer

• Go to setup.office.com in your browser.
• Sign in with your Microsoft account (if you don't have one, create one).
• Enter your Office 2021 OEM product key.
• Follow the instructions to download the installer.

1. Installing Office 2021

• Run the downloaded installer.
• Follow the on-screen steps to complete the installation.
• Wait for the installation to finish.

2. Activation Methods

A. Telephone Activation

1. Open any Office application (Word, Excel, etc.).
2. If the activation window appears, select Activate by phone.
   • If it doesn't appear, go to File > Account > Change Product Key and enter your Office 2021 OEM key.
3. Select your country or region to get the correct phone number.
4. Call the number that appears on the screen.
5. Enter the Installation ID using the telephone keypad.
6. When the system asks for the number of devices, enter 0 (zero).
7. Write down the Confirmation ID that the system dictates to you and write it in the corresponding fields in Office.
8. Click on Following either Finish.

B. Online Activation

1. Open any Office application (Word, Excel, etc.).
2. If the activation window appears, select "Activate".
   • If it doesn't appear, go to File > Account > Activate Product.
3. Sign in with the same Microsoft account you used to download Office.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the online activation.
5. If prompted, enter your Office 2021 OEM product key.
6. Wait for the activation process to complete.

3. Common Problems and Solutions

• Invalid product key: Verify that the password is correct and has not been used on another device.
• Online activation error: Please check your internet connection and try again.
• Activation limit exceeded: Contact technical support.
• Office keeps asking for activation: Close and reopen Office applications. If the problem persists, restart your computer.
